Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)

Therapy
Focuses on challenging negative thinking patterns, and teaching us how to identify and change thoughts, feelings, and behaviours that might be sabotaging us
Dialectical Behavioural
Therapy (DBT)
Focuses on communication, interpersonal skills, emotional regulation, coping strategies and mindfulness.
Informed trauma therapy starts with safety and stabilization. Then, learning coping skills and distress tolerance, before moving into processing trauma and integrating these experiences to be at peace with them.
LGBTQ+2 Affirming
Therapy
An allied therapist who is trained to support an individuals journey; whether it be exploration, curiosity, gender transitions, or coping with challenges, support networks, and resources

Seeks to help patients identify their values and the skills associated with them. It provides the patient with knowledge of their ability to live these values so they can effectively confront current and future problems.
Targets those thoughts, feelings, communications, behaviors, and interpersonal exchanges that we have learned either to suppress and avoid or to amplify and overemphasize because of early attachment experiences.
Draws upon clients' cultural beliefs, practices, and traditions to help them conceptualize and manage their mental health without discrimination.

Mindfulness-Based Therapy
A combination of cognitive therapy, meditation, and the cultivation of a
